Lost in a Sea of Thought by DalkiPanda Lost in a Sea of Thought by DalkiPanda
The boy has a distant but pensive look. He may be young, but he is a precocious little child, perplexed by his sea of thought and imagination. Each sea creature may represent a complicated yet sophisticated idea that swims around in his mind. However, not everything is pleasant and joyous in life, even if one is still a naive child. Without caveat, a sudden tempest of madness, melancholy, or struggle may come, and all you have to fend from it is a susceptible little ship, in fear of capsizing, but must overcome.

watercolor, prisma fine markers. 3hrs and half.
(i made a huge mistake by using paper that wasn't fit for watercolors...)
this scan doesn't do the piece justice :/

This is really beautiful  I love the combination of your traditional mixed mediums and colour harmonies of the blues and oranges in the hair. Lovely work!

Beautiful image. I'd love to use it in my autobiography where I describe "the problem with daydreaming in class"

haha i'm a lot older than you...'age' is merely numbers, by experience i think i'm older..

It's not merely numbers, actually. I believe experience is synonymous with age.
So, with age comes experience, but whatever floats your boat!

haha it's hard too give a short answer that explains everything, and i do agree with you. when i said numbers didn't matter, i was merely stating the abundance of older people who are...ignorant. but i have learned uncountable valuable lessons from older people. i guess it all comes down to 'experience' and that every individual is different.
fun having kewl longish conversations with a person who isn't willing to show her/his face(ur probably a grl, but heck, how the hell do i know for shizzle? all a matter of trust and faith, i guess :P)
haha. ajumma. fun stuff.

I don't mind reading long replies at all : )
Of course, there will always be ignorant people, and they come in all ages.
I'm nineteen, but i know i'm still naive and ignorant in many ways, and i don't deny that, just saying.
Sorry if my tone felt condescending by calling you 짜샤 though, hahaha my b

That last statement made you sound mildly superficial.
There is nothing wrong with holding conversations without knowing how the other looks in appearance.
I've met some handful of great and sincere people online and even became good friends without seeing a single picture of themselves.
It's funny you say that, since i have pictures of myself on my gallery BUT OKAY WHATEVS
I'M KORN AND YES I AM IN FACT A GIRL : )

This is amazing.
Seriously.

The sea just captivates my eyes as if everything was just free-flowing, yet the sea animals (such as the octopus, etc.) can tangle his mind through different emotions that may cease or stop the sea from moving. Yet, the little ship tells him to carry on...
